Daily Bread approached us with a challenge: Find a method of saying “thanks” to regular donors, in a show of genuine appreciation. At the same time, they wanted to respect the donors by not spending too much to convey their message. We devised the answer: Donors received an “anonymous” thank you card in the mail. With no Daily Bread branding on the outside, it landed as a pleasant surprise for the recipient as they opened the card. A simple thank you message, and a ‘hand written’ note is the first thing they read. Then, as the card unfolds they discover that it is from Daily Bread, and along with the statistical results that their donations have achieved, they are also connected with first hand stories of appreciation from the people they have directly helped.
