Brittany Howlett is a bilingual non-profit communications specialist who has worked with not-for-profit organizations and social enterprises at the national, provincial and community levels for more than 12 years.

Brittany combines her wide skill set in external and internal strategic communications with a healthy dose of creativity to support organizations find their authentic voice to meet their objectives and ultimately fulfill their missions. Her expertise includes copywriting, public relations, social media management, branding and social marketing. Brittany believes that communications can be a tool for social good, and has helped lead the strategic direction for a variety of communications initiatives including national awareness campaigns and organizational rebrandings.

A self-professed Francophile, Brittany employs her knowledge of both official languages to support translation needs, create bilingual content that is relevant to the needs of Francophone audiences, actively engage Francophone communities, and support and promote organizations’ French-language capacity.

Brittany holds an MSc in English Language (University of Edinburgh) and a post-graduate Certificate in Public Relations (Toronto Metropolitan University). Outside the non-profit world, Brittany is also a trapeze artist, handbalancer and circus arts coach.
