Youth Consultant

Mobeen Lalani is the Founder and Primary Consultant at Emerging Youth Consultancy (EYC). Having founded the consulting practice during the pandemic, Mobeen’s vision was to build back equitable by creating a space for youth to advise and partner with public and private sector organisations to develop intentional and meaningful youth engagement strategies. Since founding EYC, Mobeen has worked with over 15 partners and facilitated over 20 design jams, workshops, and roundtables. 

Over the past 2 years, Mobeen served as Co-Chair for the MLSE LaunchPad Youth Advisory Council where he led the council to provide insights and strategize on membership engagement, research and evaluation, and program retention. 

Mobeen is also a member of the Young Canadians Roundtable on Health with the Sandbox Project advocating for youth voices to be present on governing bodies and decision-making tables.

Mobeen is currently a Master of Health Informatics student at the University of Toronto, with a focus on digital transformation and digital health equity.
