Dan Yurman was an ad agency copywriter. Gina Fusco was a legal editor. They each independently had a vision to start a company exclusively for creating, adapting, reviewing and translating copy. After serendipitously meeting, they decided to be partners instead of competitors.
Today, Re:word gives brands, ad agencies, service firms, universities, non-profits, crown corporations and three levels of government the words they need in English and French. Clients include BDO Canada, The Gord Downie & Chanie Wenjack Fund, Onlia Insurance, the LCBO and the federal government.
