Anouk Flambert is a seasoned qualitative researcher with over 20 years of experience in leading research projects and moderating sessions in both English and French. Her expertise covers a wide range of methodologies, including focus groups, in-depth interviews, ethnographies, and usability tests. An economist by training, she began her career conducting international research in the U.S. and abroad before settling in Quebec in 1997.

Anouk has worked in-house for market research firms and ran her own practice specializing in qualitative research and strategic facilitation. She is often consulted for insights on Quebec’s cultural context in Canada-wide projects.

Known for her ability to put respondents at ease and her skillful moderation, Anouk excels at uncovering hidden insights, managing diverse groups, and quickly grasping complex subjects. Her work spans industries such as public sector, non-profits, healthcare, education, finance, and more.

Anouk has worked extensively with non-profit organizations and on mental health-related projects. She partnered with Action Canada for Sexual Health and Rights to develop a public awareness campaign for STI prevention, focusing on marginalized youth, including racialized and 2SLGBTQIA+ communities across Canada. In another significant project, she supported a medical products manufacturer in exploring the needs of family caregivers to develop mental health support services tailored to the Canadian context.

Her branding expertise includes collaborating with TD Bank to adapt Black History Month messaging and community programming to reflect the diversity within Canada’s Black community. Additionally, Anouk led rebranding research for Desjardins Financial Security, helping redefine their brand architecture and positioning through extensive consultations with stakeholders, employees, and thought leaders. These projects demonstrate her ability to combine strategic insight with community-focused research across diverse sectors.

Born to Haitian and Sri Lankan parents, Anouk has lived across the globe, fostering a unique capacity for cross-cultural communication. She is fluent in French, English, and Creole, with conversational Spanish, and holds an M.S. in Applied Economics from the University of Florida and a B.A. in Economics from Cornell University.
